Hokkaido Trip Day 2
The reason why the 2nd post of Hokkaido trip came up so late is all because of the stupid wordpress!
I dont know wtf is wrong with it recently but this is not the 1st time already. Pissed! I think i better blog in a notepad next time to avoid doin same job for twice or more again! Angry!
——————————————–
So this is the 2nd day in Hokkaido which was Christmas :D
Woke up at 6am in the morning. I looked out from the window after finished preparing to go for breakfast and i was so amazed by the view outside my room.

so so cute isn’t it? all white and everything looks so fake, it was like a toy model

buffet breakfast
see, i even had Japanese white rice for breakfast :p Haaa it’s too yummy and precious, I had it with salmon every morning in Hokkaido

outside the hotel, 8am in the morning, which was 1hr ahead of Malaysia

we were leaving Jyozankei to Otaru

On the way to Otaru and snow was falling heavily outside

and it was getting heavier and heavier but we definitely love it!

Looloo said i look like guinea pig in this picture :D
and here we are! In Otaru, and snowing!♥
The snow was heavy that day, I had to keep my baby cam inside the jacket and my tote was wet inside and outside all the time because it has no zip. and it damaged some of my polaroid shots that i put inside my tote :((
Let’s make our own music box here!

It’s a music box studio in Otaru, selling various kinds of music boxes. And u can customize ur own music box here by choosing ur own favousite music, accessories, box and etc. Then, u make them by ur own. Awesome right? I also want! But it’s too expensive for me, and u have to spend quite some time to get it done. They have around thousands of music choices for u to choose, and not to mention the accessories and other stuff. I heard that my cousin’s cousin was doing her own music box here and it costs around 2k ringgit malaysia. Awwwww ~

I don’t know where this place is but I only know that it’s Otaru. I love this place. It’s like a small town, and it gave me a fairy and dreamland kind of feel (when there was no car passing by) because of the snow, the building, the musical box music they were playing, and sometimes the sound of the clock.
and here’s the videos

Look. even the public phone looks so cute and surreal. I thought that it was a fake one just for people to take photos :p
eating ice-cream under the weather of below 0°C was great! :D
I love this candid
and heart this picture so much ♥
haaa~ look at the old women behind. She looks like the granny from some story book :p

having barbeques in such a cold weather was great too

Hello kitty toy vending machines were everywhere in Japan! and i will buy toys from it everytime i see it.
I got an orange color kitty this time :D
it’s time to leave this wonderful town, to Otaru Canal
see what i got inside the kitty :D it’s an orange color crab kitty!
and here we are, Otaru Canal

It used to be a central part of the city’s busy harbor in the first half of the 20th century, when large vessels had to be unloaded by smaller ships, which then transported the goods to warehouses along the canal. So it is actually very great canal.
The canal became obsolete, when modern dock facilities allowed for direct unloading of larger vessels. However, a part of the canal was beautifully restored in the 1980s instead of being landfilled, while the warehouses were transformed into shops, cafes, museums and restaurants.

The family portrait without mama

1.3°C in the afternoon

the restaurant that we had our buffet lunch

I was very very happy when i saw desserts!
Then, we went to visit a clock tower

a protected historical monument

3.40pm, sky already turning dark

After that, we went to visit the Hokkaido Government Building.

It was built in 1888, one of Hokkaido’s most famous buildings in the heart of Sapporo city.

shopped at Tanukikoji underground shopping place before dinner

the most important thing to do there was to buy few boxes of 白色恋人 back to Malaysia!
Dinner time! Buffet AGAIN, but this time was superb! crabs and BBQ buffet

the famous spider crab in Hokkaido. yum yum!

The bbq pork was great, It’s like the best pork ever that i’ve eaten in my life!
I had 2 bowls of rice that night. Aww it was too delicious and i couldn’t resist :/

spider crab! so yummy!
